| You may not realize it but dusting
your rug is the most important thing to do. A lot of dust and
water equals mud and that is usually what happens when a rug
isn't properly dusted before the cleaning. I have seen many
rugs come to our shop that look dull after a rug cleaning by
a carpet cleaner or some company taking it out of a customer's
house and doing a hot water steam cleaning on the rug. When
the rug dries the dirt wicks to the surface making the rug look
dull.
When we receive the rug we take it to our dusting area and
use soft compressed air on both sides to remove all dry particles
before it goes to the next step of dye
testing.
